Values are a function of things I know, don’t know and will never know.

Values are not just sense data, we value things that we can not see. Thus, we value things that we don’t know and will never know. E.g. I care about people I will never know, and still want them to be happy. Thus, my values depend on things I don’t know and will never know too.
